The Bounty, You need to see this one.

Enter The Bounty...
It's a retro-inspired competitive RPG, with an East meets West approach, deviously combined with an arcade high score sensibility. An experience that will challenge your wits as you push to survive, uncover a multitude of secrets, and earn the high score.

That intro doesn't even begin to describe how fun this game is. I played the demo for half an hour and fell in love. You are immediately presented with puzzles and classic RPG combat. Wonder audio and great classic rpg visuals make this game stunning to those of us that lean retro. Check out this game play stream.

While you are at it, check out the developer on Facebook. The Ludicrous Ones. Here is the website for the developer so you can check out their develop-y goodness, http://www.ludicrousones.com/. I highly recommend trying out the demo. You'll fall in love with it just like I did.

Now it's your turn to... ENTER THE BOUNTY!

Introducing... Project Survive: Arrival

Project Survive: Arrival is a text/minimal graphics simple rpg. You awaken one morning to find that something has happened to Earth. No electronics are working, you have little food in your house, and most of your neighbors are nowhere to be found. What do you do? The game is very open ended with little or no direction on where to go or what to do. It's up to you to figure out the correct path. The story will be revealed as you reach key locations or characters.

As you can see, most of the game is text based and you will be presented with screens similar to this, though bare in mind the art work is nowhere near final. This is programmer art at it's finest! The game will have a simple load/save feature since the likelihood of dying is great!

Here is what the main game looks like currently. This is a test room to make sure all of the mechanics are in and working properly. What a beauty!

Combat screens look like this.... right!? Basic hit or be hit combat system with screen shaking goodness and loot to boot!

Here is the best part! The maps look like they were set up by a kinder gardener! But I'm ok with that. This is the 1st of many, many, many map sections. Each square is a room that can be explored. Each house can be entered and has many rooms inside to be explored.

More updates to come as they develope!
